TECHNOLOGY INCUBATION

Technical efficiency is highly reliant on environmental conditions. The Middle East’s unique conditions necessitate our services on local compliance tests, piloting and user interaction assessment.

Technology Incubation includes:

TECHNOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT AND PILOTING

An engineering assessment of the technology is performed to establish the TRL level and a work plan is developed to pilot the technology in view of progressively making advancements inline with customer/user requirements.

SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE OVERVIEW

Review of research projects in the field is performed to understand the technological gap between our clients technology and the state-of-the-art. This review also points the direction of the client’s future development plans and essential R&D.

RESEARCH COLLABORATORS

Our long experience in scientific R&D opens the door to a pool of both academic and industrial collaborators with work forces that can be leveraged upon for future developmental works.

GRANT APPLICATION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Identification of suitable grants and drafting of the applications in partnership with collaborators to set the pace for inflow of public funding into your R&D activities.

CASE STUDY

ENNOX offers a drill cutting cleaning technology based on the cavitation principle. The technology incubation project in the Middle East armed the company with a fitting product for both the UAE and KSA Oil and Gas Industries and created R&D collaborations with Petroleum Institute, Masdar Institute, and Harvard University.

The product exhibits a lower energy cost, and higher cleaning rate in comparison to similar technologies in the market, and presented a timely solution that benefited from UAE drill cutting disposal regulations that were still in the pipeline at the time. The R&D collaboration aimed to further minimize cleaning cost and increase cleaning speed.
